What information we collect
When you submit a form on HELOCpedia.com — including the Rate Estimate form, the Ask Audi question form, and the HELOC application form — we collect the information you voluntarily provide. This typically includes:
- Your first and last name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The U.S. state where you reside or where the subject property is located
- Estimated home value, existing mortgage balance, and credit score range (for rate quotes)
- Any question or comment text you enter
We also automatically collect standard web analytics data such as the page you submitted from, your browser type, and the date and time of your submission.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Contact you to answer your question or provide the rate estimate you requested
- Present loan options and pricing tailored to your situation
- Follow up on your application or inquiry via phone, text (SMS), and email
- Comply with applicable federal and state mortgage-lending laws and recordkeeping requirements
- Prevent fraud and abuse of our services
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not rent, lease, or trade your information.
How your information may be shared
Your information may be shared with:
- West Capital Lending — our sponsoring mortgage broker, for loan processing and compliance purposes
- Wholesale lenders — when we shop your loan to specific lenders for pricing and underwriting
- Service providers — companies we use to help operate our business, including Bonzo (customer relationship management), Formsubmit (email delivery), Netlify (hosting), and analytics providers
- As required by law — in response to a subpoena, court order, or other legal requirement
TCPA consent — phone, text, and email
When you submit any form on HELOCpedia.com, you expressly consent that Audi Garner (NMLS #190235) and West Capital Lending (NMLS #1566096) may contact you at the phone number and email address you provided — including by automated phone calls, prerecorded messages, text messages (SMS), and email — regarding your inquiry, even if your number is registered on a state or federal Do Not Call registry.
Your consent is not a condition of receiving a rate quote, an answer to a question, or any other service. If you prefer we not contact you by a particular method, tell us and we will honor that preference.
SMS opt-out
Reply STOP to any text message from us to unsubscribe from SMS. Reply HELP for help. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Standard carrier rates apply.
Email opt-out
Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You may also email agarner@westcapitallending.com at any time to request removal from our email list.
Phone opt-out
You may request to be added to our internal Do Not Call list by calling (949) 785-5827 or emailing agarner@westcapitallending.com.

Data retention
We retain the information you provide for as long as necessary to service your inquiry, complete a loan transaction, and satisfy federal and state mortgage-lending recordkeeping requirements — typically 3 to 7 years depending on the type of record. After that period we securely dispose of the information.
Security
We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information — including HTTPS/TLS encryption for all form submissions and access controls on our internal systems. No system is 100% secure. If you believe your information has been compromised, contact us immediately at (949) 785-5827.
Children
HELOCpedia.com is not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent change. Material changes will be highlighted here for at least 30 days.
